Dr. Albert L. Baltz is the son of Dr. Matthias Baltz. Dr. Matt taught his children and grandchildren respect for his profession by example:
Personal heart-felt loving concern for others.
Service rendered often beyond the expected physical endurance.
Continued learning in the fast expanding medical field.
Personal dedication to profession standards and amid all this, devotion to his family.
Dr. Albert Baltz went to Vietnam in 1969 and worked as a general medical doctor in a Vietnamese hospital caring for Vietnamese civilians. He was there for 6 months and finished his air force tour at Little Rock Air force base in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He returned to Pocahontas to join his father’s practice.
