Dr. Marion A. Steele is a great grandson of Dr. Marion D. Steele, through the linage of Dr. Marion Steele’s second wife’s, son and grandson. Dr. Steele graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical School in 1945 and served in the Army for two years including a tour in Alaska. He returned to serve as a country doctor in Newton County (Jasper), Arkansas for about two years then went to San Francisco, California to enter a residency in psychiatry. He practiced this specialty until his death in May, 1986.
